The garden has closed compost membership until Spring 2015. Please attend a meeting at a date TBA to learn about opportunities to join as a compost member next spring.
Please note: compost membership is frozen until Spring 2015. Please check back for updates, or come to a meeting to learn more.
If you become a composting member, you can bring your food scraps to the garden to be turned into rich soil. To join, you must help on at least one composting work day per year (emptying the bins, turning and sifting the compost, etc.). After you have completed your volunteer requirement, you pay $10 in annual dues for a key to the gate. If you want compost to take home with you, you should join the garden and become an active member of the composting project. Please clean up after yourself, and don't leave scraps anywhere outside the bins or the gate.
